Travel Turkey : Modern Turkey is country of 780,576 square kilometres,somewhat larger than the state of Texas or France and Great Britain combined. It is bordered by the Mediterranean, Aegean, Black Sea, by Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Nahcivan, Iran, Iraq and Syria about three percent of country in Europe. South and east Dardanelles, The Sea of Marmara and Bosphorus stretches the peninsula known as Asia Minor or Anatolia. Eight thousand two hundred ten kilometres of its border are shores lined with fertile plains: these rise quickly to high, dry, central plataue where nineteen mountains incluiding Mt. Ararat, over 3500 meters high. The country has three main temparete climates: Mediterranean in the south, Black Sea in the north and steppe throughout most of Anatolia. There are four naturel lakes: Van, Tuz, Beysehir, Egirdir. Two large man - made lakes on Euphrates River back up behind the Keban and Ataturk dams. A number of its rivers well known in antiquity Euphrates, Tigris, Halys, Araxes, Sangarius, Meander and Pyramus.
The capital of Turkey Ankara located in Central Anatolia. In 1950 the population is numbered about 20 million: by the turn of century it is estimated that the population will be 70 million. More than fifty percent of the lobar force is engaged in agriculture. The main cash crops include tobacco (Turkey is the world's sixth largest producer) cereals, cotton, olive oil, mohair, wool, silk, figs, raisins, nuts, fruits, opium, gum, and sugar. Antimony, borate, copper and chrome are minded in sufficient quantities to be exported.In recent years a number of industries have become important in the national economy. These include food and beverages, clothing and cloth manufacture, chemicals, ceramics and motor vehicles.

            Day 1 - Thu : Istanbul
            • Arrival and transfer to hotel. Welcome briefing.

            Day 2 - Fri : Istanbul
            • Visit Topkapi Palace (excluding harem),

• Hippodrome,

• Blue Mosque,

• St. Sophia,

            • The Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. (B)

            Day 3 - Sat : Gallipoli - Dardanelles - Canakkale
            • Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove,
            • Chunuk Bair Lone, Pine cemetery, Gabate War Museum then across the Dardanelles to Canakkale for             overnight. (B,D)

            Day 4 - Sun : Troy - Pergamum - Kusadasi
            • Visit Troy with its famous wooden horse,
            • Tour Ancient Medical Center Asklepion in Pergamum and continue to Kusadasi for overnight. (B,D)

Day 5 - Mon : Ephesus & St. Mary’s House - Kusadasi
• Tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s cottage.

• Afternoon Optional: tour of local village called Sirince (B,D)

            Day 6 - Tue : Kusadası - Pamukkale
            • Drive through fertile valleys to Pamukkale (white lime cascades)
            Visit Hierapolis and enjoy the thermal pools of our hotel. (B,D)

Day 7 - Wed : Pamukkale - Perge - Antalya
• Morning drive to Antalya, arrival at mid - noon, visit to the ancient city of Perge, a relax afternoon by the Mediterranean coast (B,D)

Day 8 - Wed : Pamukkale - Perge - Antalya
• Today is a free day with choices of Optional tours of Phaselis, a coastal ancient cith or a lazy yacht cruise along turquoise cost of the Mediterranean (B,D)

Day 9 - Fri : Antalya - Aspendos - Konya
• After breakfast depart for Konya,

• En route visit the famous theatre in Aspendos.

• Visit Mevlana Mausoleum and Karatay Koran School, then overnight in Konya . (B,D)

Day 10 - Sat : Konya - Cappadocia
• Morning departure for Cappadocia, the land of Fairy Chimneys.

• On the way visit 13rd century Agzikarahan Caravansary the land of Fairy Chimneys.

• Visit to the famous underground city of Saratli.

• Before we check in our hotel, we wil taste Cappadocian wine in a cave winery.

• Local dinner in a restaurant and overnight in Cappadocia. Tonight Optional: Whirling Dervishes performance (B,D)

Day 11 - Sun : Cappadocia
• Early Morning Optional: Balloon Tour. Experience of floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sunrise of Cappadocia.

• After breakfast, visit Goreme,

• Avanos,

• Pasabagi,

• Red Valley and have a brief regional pottery workshop in a cave. (B,D)

            Day 12 - Mon : Cappadocia - Ankara
            • Morning departure for Ankara, afternoon tour of the Ataturk Mausoleum,
            Anatolian Civilizations Museum. (B,D)

Day 13 - Tue : Istanbul
• After breakfast drive to Istanbul. Afternoon Optional: half day Bosphorus Cruise, including last minute shopping in the Spice Market. Tonight farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 14 - Wed : Istanbul
• Transfer to the airport(B)
